“SLOW TOUR CANAVESE”

The gastronomic “Slow Tour” will begin with a light trekking walking excursion up on the Morainic hills of the Royal Wine Road of Torinese Wines; the amphitheatre of Ivrea and its spectacular pergolas will represent the perfect skyline where to discover and appreciate one of the most successful and ancient sweet raisin wines of Europe. Lunch will be served at the court of one of the most renowned and antique wine cellars of Caluso: here you will taste some of its most unique and delightful local wines combined with a vast choice of cheeses and salamis. As part of an innovative food company, they will introduce and explore the main characteristics of their products and their ideal concept of social farming…
In the afternoon, a visit to a well-known local organic honey production centre will let you get introduced into this fascinating world, where the importance of this tiny little insects will be fully detailed and described by those specialists running the centre.
As the day comes to an end, by saving you the Best for last, an honey tasting tour will be arranged in this very last group greeting.
