Trek Nature on the paths of Gran Paradiso
Duration: 2 days / 1 night
- DAY 1
Two-day trekking between Valsavarenche, Valle Orco and Val di Rhêmes, with an expert hiking guide in the Gran Paradiso National Park, between Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, from Valle Orco, to Val di Rhêmes passing through Valsavarenche. The itinerary crosses a great variety of environments (the majestic and imposing Alta Valle Orco with its large artificial and natural lakes; the suggestive plains of Nivolet and Lavassey, where the Benevolo refuge is located; pastures and high-altitude passes; glacial and moraine environments), taking advantage of a comfortable and well-signposted network of paths. Conclusion of the excursion with a merenda sinoira at the Mila Refuge in Ceresole Reale.
Day 1
Meeting with the guide at Piani del Nivolet and departure for Col Leynir – Thumel – Rifugio Benevolo. Packed lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Benevolo refuge.
- DAY 2
Day 2
Breakfast at the Benevolo Refuge. Departure for Col Rosset – Piani del Nivolet. Descent to Ceresole Reale and Sinoira snack at the Massimo Mila Hut.
