The refuge is located at an altitude of 1,090 meters and is easily accessible by car from the villages of Traversella and Inverso, while from Rueglio, the road is unpaved. It features a restaurant with 50 seats, a bar area, and outdoor tables for refreshments under the birch trees and umbrellas.

Guests can stay in a shared dormitory with 14 beds. Shared bathrooms are available. The refuge is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the winter months, and from June, it is open every day except Wednesday. It is recommended to always call for reservations and to confirm the opening times.

From the refuge, you can hike to Cima Bossola (1,500 meters), Monte Lion (2,000 meters), and Gran Munt (2,200 meters), enjoy the beautiful narcissus blooms in spring, or go snowshoeing and ski mountaineering in winter.

Opening: From January 1st to May 31st, open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. From June 1st to October 31st, open every day.
