In the heart of Canavese, in Valle Sacra, at an altitude of about 900 meters, what was once a house with a barn from the late 18th century has been transformed into L’Ozio Creativo.

This guest house, according to the owners’ intentions, is inspired by the extraordinary beauty of the alpine landscape with a particular focus on the interaction between architecture and nature. This inspiration extends to the interior design, reflecting the traditions and world of the mountains with a contemporary interpretation.

Vernacular materials such as stone walls, spruce and larch wood, and slate roofs have for centuries characterized the housing landscape of the valley, and are deliberately used as a tribute to the local building tradition.

With a breathtaking view of the Bella Dormiente, the scent of wood, stone, and modern fireplaces convey a sense of warmth, hospitality, and peace. Here, passion for the mountains speaks.
