Located in the heart of Frassinetto, a sunny village at about 1,000 meters above sea level and overlooking the Canavese region from its natural balcony, Mason Bartrumè and the adjoining Quin’z Top restaurant offer customers a refined and authentic dining experience. This is achieved through the skillful use of high-quality local ingredients and renowned regional wines.

The establishment, inaugurated in June 2024, spans three levels and provides 50 indoor seats, complemented by 30 additional outdoor seats in the summer.

On the ground floor, guests can enjoy a bar, café, and gelateria with an adjacent outdoor area. The first floor, accessible via a large wooden panoramic staircase, houses the restaurant, featuring a spacious mezzanine with exposed wooden beams. The lower level hosts a large summer terrace with tables for dining and bar service.

The venue is fully accessible to people with disabilities, equipped with a spacious elevator serving all three floors, and includes accessible restrooms.

Bartrumè offers a wide selection of cocktails, wines by the glass, and beers, both draft and bottled. The wine-by-the-glass menu changes monthly, focusing primarily on Canavese and Piedmontese varieties. Live music nights and events in collaboration with the local tourism association are regularly organized.

An area is dedicated to showcasing and selling typical products from the Frassinetto and Canavese regions, allowing visitors to purchase local foods and beverages to take home.

The layout of the bar and restaurant ensures optimal service for customers, as well as the possibility of separate event management (e.g., music, parties), allowing both services to be enjoyed without interference.

Given the rise of various sports and cultural facilities in the village, as well as events of international renown (e.g., the 2019 Giro d’Italia and the “Arcansel” zipline), tailored menus and services have been developed:

  1. Refreshment point for athletes (hikers, cyclists): Featuring versatile, quick-to-consume food options for breaks during activities, such as the Pian del Lupo circuit.
  2. Services for sports teams: Catering to football, athletics, and other sports teams choosing Frassinetto for preseason training.
  3. Collaborations with APT/Turismo Torino/Canavese Tourism Consortia: Providing catering for conferences, meetings, forums, and various events.
  4. Theme menus for inaugurations and village events: Including celebrations like the Bonatto Minella art gallery opening or events such as Dignal an’tal cianton vei and La Notte degli Artisti.
  5. Meeting room, buffet, and business lunch services: Tailored for corporate events, team-building sessions, or gatherings of associations and clubs.
  6. Tasting days and evenings: Featuring Canavese, Piedmontese, and Italian food and wine, aligned with seasonal availability.
  7. HB/BB catering services: Designed for local accommodations such as the “Al Mason” scattered hotel, B&Bs, and guesthouses.

A tourist information point is available for visitors, offering initiatives to promote Frassinetto and the valley. These include:

  1. Collaborations with local associations (e.g., “Pietra su Pietra,” “Trekking Frassinetto”) to combine hiking experiences with meals.
  2. Partnerships with local businesses (e.g., “La Mason dla Sfissi,” “Arcansel” zipline) to provide tourists with a comprehensive service package.

The à la carte menu changes monthly and features high-quality local and regional ingredients, including various products sourced directly from Frassinetto (e.g., seasonal herbs, cheeses, honey).

House-made fresh pasta and desserts, prepared daily, are the pride of the restaurant. Meat dishes dominate the main courses, but vegetarian and vegan options are also available, along with diverse menu choices.

Special accommodations are made for guests with food intolerances (gluten, lactose, etc.).

The wine list highlights primarily Canavese and Piedmontese labels, with particular attention to small local producers. The restaurant also organizes “Producer’s Dinners”—themed evenings featuring dedicated menus and wine tastings in collaboration with the guest winery.

Opening Hours: Closed on Tuesdays year-round. During the winter season, closed on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
