Day 1: Ivrea – Five Lakes – Ivrea

The first part of our trip will be an urban exploration of the city of Ivrea, and its fascinating industrial past, recently recognized by Unesco. We will be able to admire the architectural works that testify to Olivetti’s social ideology, and visit the Technologic @ mente Laboratory-Museum, to better understand the extraordinary heritage of ideas and innovations of the Ivrea city. In the afternoon, as in a journey back in time, we will cycle towards prehistory until we reach the area of ​​the five lakes (Lago Nero, Lago Sirio, Lago Pistono, Lago San Michele and Lago Campagna) where the unusual ‘Terre Ballerine’ are located.

Wine tasting and typical Canavese dinner in a local restaurant will complete this exciting day.

Day 2: Ivrea – Viverone Lake – Serra Morenica

Sunday will be dedicated to the exploration of Lake Viverone, where there is a Neolithic settlement that is part of the Unesco Site: ‘Prehistoric pile dwellings in the Alps’. Light lunch during the excursion, followed by climbing the Serra, the moraine hill, we will be able to enjoy an extraordinary landscape.
