“SOFT RAFTING ON THE DORA BALTEA RIVER”

The Anfiteatro Morenico in Ivrea, and Ivrea itself, are crossed by the Dora Baltea River: the river, a left tributary of the Po, has always played a crucial role for the Canavese area. In various points it is possible to engage in a safe descent of this important river by rafting on inflatable boats.

The Dora Baltea, in the stretch from the exit of the Valle d’Aosta to Ivrea, is an interesting route from a naturalistic point of view, and rafting on inflatable boats is the best method to enjoy its wonderful landscapes. We offer several excursions to explore the route, surrounded by pristine nature, to admire fabulous views and relax in the company of birds that nest on the banks’ trees. We offer a few hours with certified and insured guides. The experience includes all the equipment.

The price of the different experiences is detailed and attractive for groups of at least 5 people.

RAFTING EXPERIENCE

• BASE RAFTING from Baio Dora or Montalto Dora over 2 hours for 5/6/7 people 160€/192€/224€ per group
• MOONLIGHT RAFTING from Baio Dora or Montalto Dora. The experience offers an exclusive descent in our blue waters of the Dora River by moonlight. The route offers the perfect landscape with the natural environment surrounding the river, the reflection of the moon on the white waters, the entrance of the Valle d’Aosta behind the descent together with the castles of the neighboring towns.
  All of this on one of the most brilliant evenings of the month, an incredible starry sky seen without any light interference except the moon!
  The arrival in Ivrea at night is particularly fascinating due to the lights and the urban landscape.
  All of this is done by one of our specialized guides who will tell the adventures of the river, the landscape, and the evening. Activity period:
