DAY 1.

Ivrea – Five Lakes – Ivrea

The first part of our journey will be an urban exploration of the City of Ivrea, and its fascinating industrial past, recently recognized by UNESCO. We will be able to admire the architectural works that testify to Olivetti’s social ideology, and visit the Laboratorio-Museo Tecnologic@mente, to better understand the extraordinary heritage of ideas and innovations of the city of Ivrea. In the afternoon, as if in a journey back in time we will pedal back to prehistoric times until we reach the area of the five Lakes (Lake Nero, Lake Sirio, Lake Pistono, Lake San Michele and Lake Campagna) where the unusual ‘Dancing Lands’ are located
Wine tasting and typical Canavese dinner in a local restaurant will complete this exciting day.

DAY 2.

Ivrea – Lake Viverone – Serra Morenica

Sunday will be dedicated to the exploration of Lake Viverone, where there is a Neolithic settlement that is part of the UNESCO Site: ‘Prehistoric pile-dwelling sites of the Alps’. Light lunch on the hike, followed by climbing the Serra, the moraine hill, we will enjoy an extraordinary landscape.
