DESCRIZIONE ESPERIENZA

With the Figliej food and wine excursion, we will have the opportunity to discover the origin of biodiversity in the vineyards of Settimo Vittone through an organic winery that preserves a heroic landscape along the Via Francigena among willows, arbors, flowers and fruits.

We will set off on a 3-hour trek along the Via Francigena and go through the history of Canavese heroic viticulture with the concept of the vineyard/garden, on which exploiting every inch of reclaimed land protected by centuries-old dry stone walls, fruits and vegetables were grown and animals were raised, providing the plants with a rich, but above all heterogeneous, nutrient system.

Willow binding, organic production and the passion of Bianca and Riccardo will accompany a tasting in Zalto crystal goblets of four wines, ranging from Rosso Figliej to Chèmp and Toppia to Darecà.
