Tours by e bike among lakes, canals, wines and castles

DAY 1.

Culture and food and wine: Candia, Mercenasco, Montalenghe, Cuceglio, Agliè, Candia

9 a.m. : Meeting in Candia. Check in and meet with local guide and assignment of your electric bike.
9:30 am : Departure for the first stage of the tour, which includes the ascent of the Mercenasco hill among chestnut trees until reaching Montalenghe, continuation to Cuceglio and then arrival in the hamlets of Agliè. Panoramic stops are planned along the way at the main viewpoints.
12.30 pm Descent from the hamlets of the hill of Agliè to the town center where lunch is planned.
2.30 pm Followed by a visit to the medieval village, the Church of Santa Marta and the Ducal Castle with the Park
4.30 pm Departure for the return to Candia with a stop for tasting torcetti and passito in a winery in the erbaluce hills
6.30 pm Arrival at the Hotel, relaxation and dinner

DAY 2.

Nature, flora and fauna: Candia, Mazzè, Candia

9 a.m. Breakfast at Hotel
9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. Lake Candia seen from outside and inside … Depart from Hotel by bicycle for tour of Lake Candia Natural Park, 11th-century Church of St. Stephen, then to the pier where bicycles are left. Continue with guided nature tour of the lake by electric boat. At the end lunch in Restaurant on the lake –
2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Tour of the white stones: Departure in the direction of Barengo, historic village of Mazzè,
Tour of typical Piedmontese farmhouses and at the end return to Hotel
6:30 p.m. Arrival at Hotel, relaxation and outdoor dinner, overnight stay at hotel

DAY 3.

History along the Canals-the government of water in the two provinces: Candia, Caluso, Mazzè, Villareggia, Cigliano, Montalenghe, Mazzè, Candia

9 a.m. Breakfast at the Hotel
9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Departure from the Hotel by bicycle to tour the two provinces. The first point of interest for the 2nd leg of the White Stones tour is Villareggia, which will be the heart of the tour, from where we start and arrive.
The route runs along 16th-century Canals and artifacts attributed to Leonardo da Vinci ” Casotto Maddalena”, Mazzè Dam, Cigliano Hydraulic Elevator (19th cent.), De Pretis State Canal, Ricetto di Villareggia, “Castelvecchio” in Montalenghe, erratic boulder known as “Pietra del Vais,”
At the end lunch in the historic village of Mazzè
15.00 At the end of lunch return to Candia to the Hotel , free time and departure.
