MASON BARTRUMÈ
Frassinetto
Valle Soana
Located in the center of Frassinetto, a sunny town at an altitude of about 1,000 meters and overlooking Canavese from its natural balcony, the local Mason Bartrumè and the adjoining Quin’z Top restaurant offer customers a refined and authentic dining experience through the skillful use of raw materials and renowned local wines.
The venue, which opened in June 2024, has 3 levels and provides 50 seats, plus 30 seats in the outdoor area during the summer period.
On the street level are available the ice cream café bar, with adjoining dehor. On the second floor, a wide panoramic wooden staircase leads to the restaurant room, formed by a large loft with exposed wooden beams. Finally, downstairs there is the large summer outdoor area with tables for catering and bar.
The venue is fully accessible by people with disabilities, having a large elevator covering the three floors of the building, with bathrooms for the disabled.
Bartrumè offers a wide selection of cocktails, wines by the glass, and beers both on tap and in bottles. Monthly varying wine tasting offerings, mainly Canavese and Piedmontese. Live music evenings and events are organized in cooperation with the local pro loco.
A corner is available for the display and resale of typical products from the Frassinettese and Canavese area, allowing patrons to purchase food and drinks to take with them.
The aforementioned distribution of the bar and restaurant premises allows for optimal customer service, as well as separate room management (e.g., music, parties, etc.), so that both services can be enjoyed in a pleasant manner without overlapping.
Our clientele, with the advent of various sports and cultural facilities in the village, as well as events of international appeal (e.g. Giro d’Italia 2019 and “Arcansel” zipline), suggested the creation of ad hoc menus and services:
- Refreshment point for sportsmen (hikers, cyclists), featuring versatile and quick food to be consumed during the sports break (e.g., during the Pian del Lupo ride).
- Service for athletes from soccer, athletics, and other sports teams who will choose Frassinetto to conduct their pre-season sports training.
- Collaboration with APT/Turismo Torino/Canavese tourist consortiums/sports activities in the municipality, providing adequate food service at conventions, meetings, forums and various events.
- Themed menus for openings (Bonatto Minella art gallery), festivals and events organized in the village (e.g., Dignal an’tal cianton vei, The night of the artists)
- Meeting room, buffet and business lunch service for corporate events (e.g. Team building/corporate meetings/associations-clubs).
- Days/evenings of food and beverage tasting of the Canavese, Pimontese and Italian territory, according to the seasonality of raw materials and paired wines.
- HB/BB catering service for accommodation facilities in the municipality (e.g., Albergo Diffuso “Al Mason”/B&B/guesthouse)
A tourist-information point dedicated to tourists is available. This service includes initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the Frassinettese and valley area, such as:
- Collaborations with local associations (e.g., “Stone on Stone” Association, “Trekking Frassinetto”) to offer more meal excursion solutions to hikers.
- Collaborations with local businesses (e.g., “La Mason dla Sfissi,” “Arcansel” flight of the angel) to offer tourists an all-around service.
The a la carte menu varies on a monthly basis and features high-quality, locally and regionally sourced raw materials, with various produce from the village of Frassinetto (e.g., seasonal herbs, cheeses, honey)
Fresh pasta and desserts, made in-house daily, are our pride and joy. Main courses are predominantly meat; there is no shortage of options for vegetarians and vegans, with a variety of items on the menu.
Service is also provided for those with food intolerances (gluten, lactose, etc.).
The wine list welcomes labels mainly from Canavese and Piedmont, with a focus on small local producers, with whom “Dinners with the Producer” are organized; themed evenings with dedicated menus and with the focus on tasting wines from the restaurant’s host winery.
