DAY 1.

Ivrea, Settimo Vittone

9:30 a.m. Arrival in Ivrea Industrial City of the 20th Century – Unesco World Heritage Site

Narrated walk among Olivettian architectures. An unusual visit to the open-air museum of Olivettian architectures in the company of actor Marco Peroni will provide an understanding of not only the technical or architectural aspect, but also the social, cultural and “community” aspect that Olivetti, but especially Adriano represented for the Canavese. Marco Peroni, historian and author of “Ivrea, a guide to the city of Adriano Olivetti” published by Edizioni di Comunità (2016), narrator of the company Le Voci del Tempo, which has dedicated a music and spoken word show, “Direction Home,” to Adriano Olivetti, replicated throughout Italy. This resulted in a comic book “Adriano Olivetti, un secolo troppo presto” for Beccogiallo Editions (Best Screenplay Award at the 2012 Naples International Comics Festival), a broadcast for RAI and narrated tour routes for different audiences. The guided tour closes with the Museo Tecnologic@mente Laboratory, which tells the industrial history of Olivetti.
12:20 p.m. Transfer by bus to Settimo Vittone.

DAY 2.

Ivrea, Carema, Settimo Vittone

Breakfast.
Bus transfer to Carema

Church of San Martino, House of Music, stretch of path in the vineyards of Carema DOC, Church of San Rocco, Church of San Matteo, Palazzotto degli Ugoneti and the Gran Masun (medieval Casaforte with historic cellar). Visit to the social winery producers of Nebbiolo di Carema
Transfer by bus to Settimo Vittone Lunch in Settimo Vittone at Osteria La Sosta, an ancient hospice dating back to 800 AD located on the Via Francigena.

Return to Ivrea and guided walk through the historic center
