A Mountain of Taste

13th wine and food festival to discover the Canavese Valleys

This year the Una Montagna di Gusto festival-now in its 13th year-starts in September and features “Con gusto al rifugio” in collaboration with the CAI sections of Canavese.

As part of the project “A Mountain of Experiences: sustainable tourism on the Italy Trail in Piedmont,” several mountain and hiking refuges present the extraordinary products and tasty recipes of the Canavese mountains.

It is not always the same old porridge….

The Consortium of Tourist Operators Canavese Valleys offers you a way to enjoy the mountains in the last days of summer: one more walk, one more hike among the flora and fauna of the beautiful Canavese valleys, one more lunch with friends in the presence of the peaks that, soon, will go into “hibernation.”

With Taste at the Refuge includes:

KM0 DINNERS AND LUNCHES in the best local refuges with typical menus and raw materials from the Canavese Valleys

SLEEP WITH US dinner/night coordinating proposals

Enogastronomy and culture are two sides of the same coin: discovering and tasting products and recipes of an area means making a complete sensory experience, but also an act of knowledge and cultural deepening.
