The 100 x 100 Women is the brainchild of Paola Gianotti, ultra cyclist, campaigner on respect for cyclists on the road and environmental activist, in collaboration with Gal Valli del Canavese, the City of Ivrea and the Canavese Tourist Operators Consortium to create a cycling event exclusively for women.
An awareness-raising event where the bicycle becomes a tool of revenge and independence especially for women. The 100 x 100 Women is completely about women pedaling, telling their stories, having fun and feeling free to challenge themselves.

The 100 x 100 Women is a bicycle touring event.
It is not a race but an event of women who experience cycling as a form of physical and mental well-being, as a means of traveling and moving, and as overcoming their limits.
It is open to all women, whether they are experienced cyclists, novices or just amateur athletes.
Any type of bicycle from muscle to electric can be used.
The roads are not closed to traffic, but many relays of volunteers man the route.
It is not a race, so each participant will be able to go at his or her own pace.
THE PATH.
The route winds through the beautiful Canavese area among hills, lakes and castles.
It takes place at 8. It is thus possible to choose whether to do the entire 100 km route or only the first 50 km.
The second 50 km sees the most challenging part with the climb to Valchiusella.
The total elevation gain is about 1,200 meters.
